He was ordered to kill them both when they became too risky to Kristen’s plan but instead locked them up in the secret room in the DiMera Tunnels. However, Xander may begin to realize he can’t both conduct evil schemes and improve his reputation to impress Sarah when he stars being questioned about both Ted and Kate’s disappearances on the Friday, July 5 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After Ted (Gilles Marini) tried to expose the truth about Holly being alive and Kate (Lauren Koslow) began sniffing around to see what “Nicole” was up to, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), who has been masquerading as Nicole (Arianne Zucker) on the NBC soap, ordered Xander (Paul Tefler) to kill them both. However, the feelings he has for Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), have propelled him to not commit murder, and he has instead taken both of them to the secret room in the DiMera tunnels, where he has locked them up. However, as a plan that Ted set in motion to raise concerns about his whereabouts is set into motion, Xander may begin to wonder if he made a mistake.

“Hope questions Xander about the necklace he gifted Sarah,” spoilers reveal.

Ted told Xander to give Sarah the necklace he had tried to give to Hope (Kristian Alfonso), which he did, claiming it was a wedding present. Hope, who has been searching for Ted since she realized he went missing, has noticed her wearing it and learned that Xander was the one who gave it to her. As a result, she will want to know how he got his hands on it, and he will be forced to come up with some kind of story to throw her off the trail—but considering his past, she may not buy it.

Meanwhile, as they realize Kate has gone missing as well, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Rex (Kyle Lowder) will begin to wonder what happened to her as well, and they too will begin to wonder if Xander played a role in her sudden disappearance as well.

“Suspicious Brady and Rex compare notes about Kate and Xander,” spoilers state.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
