The Powerball drawing on Wednesday night did not yield any grand prize winner for the estimated $167 million jackpot with a cash option of $109 million.

The next drawing, which will take place on Saturday, will see the jackpot grow to an estimated $181 million with a $118.1 million cash value.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Wednesday, March 23, were 31, 32, 37, 38, 48 with a red Powerball of 24. The Power Play was 2X.

There were no grand prize winners following the latest drawing, but one player became an instant millionaire. A ticketholder in Pennsylvania hit the Match 5 and won $1 million. However, the player missed out on a $2 million prize by choosing not to use a Power Play.

Aside from the lone millionaire, there were several other winners that resulted from the latest lottery drawing. Nine people hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball and won $50,000 apiece. Meanwhile, only one player hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball with a Power Play and won $100,000.

The rest of the monetary winnings from the night ranged between $4 and $200. A total of 429,328 players won prizes from the Wednesday night lottery.

The last drawing comes amid reports that scammers are using the name of Scott Godfrey, the individual who claimed the $700 million Powerball ticket in Morro Bay, California, to defraud people.

Scammers have reportedly sent out emails claiming, “You have a donation of $3,500,000 from Scott Godfrey who had won the $699.8 million Powerball lottery.”

While Godfrey previously did an interview in which he said he would help those in need, he has donated to institutions, including those that help the homeless. However, he has not donated to specific individuals.

Powerball jackpot winners must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination. Five numbers need to be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

There is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the Powerball jackpot.
