Although Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have a friendly relationship following their 2005 divorce, the former spouses appeared to keep their distance from one another while attending a Golden Globes afterparty.

On Sunday night, Pitt and Aniston attended Netflix’s Golden Globes afterparty at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Although the “Friends” alum appeared supportive of her ex-husband during the awards ceremony, the exes didn’t seem to notice one another while mingling alongside other A-listers.

A source told Us Weekly that Aniston and Pitt didn’t interact during the afterparty. “Jennifer and him didn’t even appear as though they’d seen each other. They were in different areas of the venue,” the insider revealed.

Instead, the 50-year-old actress stood close by her good friend, Sandra Bullock. “They mingled with others after, but Jennifer and Sandra were standing across from each other and still engaging in conversation,” the source explained.

“Jennifer and Sandra seemed like very close friends and had a natural ease and comfort level when talking to each other.”

Meanwhile, Pitt was spotted chatting up Ana De Armas. “They were laughing and talking and talking pretty closely to each other, but it was also loud at the event,” the source said.

“They were both smiling and into the conversation,” the insider added.

Although Pitt and Aniston kept their distance during the Netflix afterparty, the two reportedly shared a moment later in the night. The source claimed the 56-year-old left within minutes of Aniston when she departed from the Netflix soirée.

The two were later seen having a conversation at the CAA afterparty at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood.

It appears Pitt and Aniston are using the new year to spend time with friends and strengthen old bonds.
