There were two very different reactions Sunday to a picture that surfaced on social media of former President Donald Trump.

Trump supporter Brigitte Gabriel, founder of the anti-Muslim group ACT for America, posted a photo of Trump and commented on how he looked presidential ahead of a possible White House run in 2024.

After the tweet, Gabriel drew dozens of responses that made the point that the maskless Trump not only didn't look presidential but appeared in poor health.

The image includes a bandage on Trump's left forearm and some type of bruise on his finger. He looked noticeably less tan than he did on the campaign trail. Trump's right eye also appeared to be half-closed while his left eye seemed blurry.

The image also includes a younger man in the background who is wearing a mask.

“Actually, if he was trying to look fit, healthy and ready to go, he shouldn’t allow himself to be photographed next to guys like this. The only person that makes Trump look good by comparison is Jabba the Hut,” another user stated.

One user pointed out, “He looks soft, flabby and pasty, which is typical for his geriatric age, but I will give him kudos since it appears he’s stopped wearing unblended burnt sienna foundation and is reverting to his natural skin tone.”

In February, it was reported that Trump was more seriously sick from COVID-19 in October than was initially reported. The New York Times reported that “officials believed he would be put on a ventilator” before he was taken to Walter Reed National Military Center.

Gabriel, meanwhile, has faced criticism for ACT for America. The 56-year-old’s organization is the largest anti-Muslim group in America and is described as a group that “pushes wild anti-Muslim conspiracy theories, denigrates American Muslims and deliberately conflates mainstream and radical Islam,” according to Southern Poverty Law Center.
