After defeating the king, Hyunckel and Larhart stare at each other, and Hym wonders if they have some history. The official promo trailer of "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 81 shows Larhart, who dons the Dark Armor Spear, heading off to see Dai and his comrades.

In the White Garden, the warriors are ready to battle against Mystvearn, the greatest enemy in the Dark Army.

"Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 81 is titled "The Battle in the White Garden."

"The world that was once afflicted by Hadlar, the Dark Lord, has regained peace in the hands of a swordsman called the 'hero' and his companions. Delmurin Island became a place where monsters released from the Dark Lord lived. Dai, who is the only human on the island and longs to be a hero, lives in peace with the monsters," read the official series synopsis, as per Crunchyroll.

"However, that life completely changes with the resurrection of the Dark Lord Hadlar. With promises from teachers, encounters with friends, and a destiny that cannot be escaped... In order to save the world, the adventure of Dai and his quest to be a hero begins!" it continued.

The cast of the anime includes Atsumi Tanezaki as Dai, Akira Ishida as Larhart, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Killvearn, Kiyono Yasuno as Marin, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Matliff, Yuuki Kaji as Hyunckel, Yui Ishikawa as Amy, Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Popp, Tomokazu Seki as Hadlar, Tomoaki Maeno as Crocodine, Takaya Hashi as Vearn, Takehito Koyasu as Mystvearn, Takahiro Sakurai as Avan, Saori Hayami as Leona, Mikako Komatsu as Maam, Ai Furihata as Gome, Hiroki Touchi as Lon Beruk, Akira Ishida as Larhalt, Konomi Kohara as Merle, Mitsuo Iwata as Zaboera and Takahiro Sakurai as Avan.

The anime series is based on the original story by Koji Inada and Riku Sanjo.
