After a weekend of bombastic trailers courtesy of Microsoft, Bethesda, and EA, Monday and Tuesday had a few surprises of its own to help get E3 started right. The latest batch of trailers came courtesy of Ubisoft, Square Enix, and Nintendo, who all hosted events ahead of the show floor opening up on Tuesday.

And while there are still too many to choose from, these are definitely the highlights to help get E3 started in fashion.

Probably the biggest trailer came courtesy of Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics with the first official trailer for “Marvel’s Avengers.”

Nintendo announced “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” will be getting a sequel, and it is in development.

Travis Touchdown is back with his beam saber and loud mouth in “No More Heroes III.”

“Final Fantasy” games also had plenty to cheer for with a new trailer for “Final Fantasy VII Remake,” which offered a first look at the fan-favorite character, Tifa Lockhart.

Ubisoft asked who was ready to join the resistance and free London with the first trailer to “Watch Dogs: Legion.”

Jon Berenthal was front and center in a new trailer for “Ghost Recon: Breakpoint,” where Berenthal’s Cole D. Walker delivers his manifesto to his rogue spec ops force, The Wolves.

Operators will have to work together to stop a viral outbreak in the “Rainbow Six: Quarantine.”

"Dragon Quest's" Hero is joining "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate," along with Banjo and Kazooie.

Tom Nook welcomes travelers to a new island getaway in "Animal Crossing: New Horizon."
