The saying from rags to riches doesn’t apply to Jenni Lee’s current living condition. Found in the dangerous tunnel of Las Vegas, concerned citizens have created a web page to raise funds to help the ex-porn star.

A certain Alexander A called out for help from people with kind hearts, via Just Giving, to raise £50,000, through crowdfunding, to help ex-porn star Jenni Lee, who’s off-screen name is Stephanie Sadorra. According to the site, even if you’re not a registered profit organization, crowdfunding can raise funds for a personal cause.

The goal is to raise fund for Lee to help her start over. The collected amount is intended for the ex-porn star’s medical treatment, payment for safe shelter and any other assistance she may need to leave her current living condition.

A Dutch TV crew found Lee in the tunnels under Las Vegas while interviewing a few of the hundreds of homeless people who camp there, New York Post reported. The gorgeous, alluring woman who is of Puerto Rican, Irish and German descent is now described as filthy and gaunt-looking, according to the report.

Much to people’s belief that the drain pipe camps are dangerous, Lee reportedly claimed that living there wasn’t as bad as other thought. She also reportedly said that everybody was, in a way, respectful.

An estimated 1,000 homeless people camp out in Lee’s now-neighborhood. The tunnel’s residents are called mole people, according to The Sun’s report. Composed of full-time workers who could not afford a decent housing in the Sin City, drug addicts and gambling addicts, the underground residents feed on left over foods from bins and money given away by winning gamblers as goodwill if they are lucky; hence, the tunnel’s inhabitants reportedly fight for survival.

The underground residents, including Lee, are at risk to catch certain diseases as they are unhygienically living with rodents. They are, also, reportedly at risk from venomous spider bites and drowning in floods.

Las Vegas issued an ordinance, more than a decade ago, which made feeding the indigent an offense. The New York Times reported that ordinance, adopted by Las Vegas, only aimed to limit the charitable meals being distributed in public places, such as parks.

The local bylaw was reportedly issued to discourage homeless people from gathering in public places, including downtowns and neighborhoods, as it might affect in the city’s tourism. Apparently, the donated foods were, sometimes, thrown away and these rotten grubs often attract rodents, pigeons and other pest. Unwanted goods were also left in the streets; hence, the ordinance.
