KEY POINTS

  • Kirill Tereshin underwent a series of cosmetic face transformations worth more than $4,500 to look like an alien
  • The 25-year-old former Russian soldier previously injected petroleum jelly into other parts of his body
  • The hardened jelly in his triceps has been taken out, but the substance still needs to be removed from his biceps

A former Russian soldier who ignored doctors' warnings and underwent life-threatening cosmetic treatments to look more like an “alien” has undergone more surgery to achieve his goal, according to reports.

Kirill Tereshin revealed that his face now “looks like an alien’s” after he pumped up his lips, made his cheeks more pronounced and shaped both his lower jaw and his forehead, the Daily Star reported.

The 25-year-old blogger got the surgeries because he "once saw a flying saucer" and believes that he will meet extraterrestrial life after he dies.

"I feel that when I die, I will get to them. I believe in this. The third transformation of my face is complete -- successfully. How beautiful it is. Everything is done as it should be," Tereshin said in a video.

"It is all going according to plan. What a handsome male I am. Damn… if I was a girl, I'd shag myself," he added.

Tereshin, who reportedly paid £3,600 ($4,540) for the cosmetic face transformations carried out by a female beautician named Zara, became famous in late 2018 when he pumped the petroleum jelly-based product Vaseline into his arms.

He received the nickname "fake Popeye" after petroleum jelly injections boosted his biceps to dangerously large levels.

Tissues die and are replaced by multiple scars and adhesions when petroleum jelly is injected under the skin, according to surgeon Dmitry Melnikov.

While Tereshin has since had the petroleum jelly in his triceps taken out, he still needs the hardened substance to be removed from his biceps, a report by the Russian outlet Komsomolskaya Pravda said.

The ex-soldier has been warned that the operation may result in him suffering from nerve damage and being left with immobilized arms, but he faces death if he does not undergo the operation.

"The risk of complications in this case is very high. But inaction will not help the patient. A toxic substance in the body long term can complicate the kidneys and lead to death," Melnikov explained.

Following his triceps surgery, Tereshin revealed that he was "very afraid" about having the petroleum jelly removed from his biceps, per the Daily Star.

The blogger was also reportedly worried about losing his popularity, which enabled him to earn enough money to afford two apartments in the Moscow region.

Tereshin is now experimenting with other formats, but he did not rule out the introduction of another harmful substance into his arms.
