‘Fifty Shades Darker’

An extended promo for “Fifty Shades Darker” was released online on New Year's Eve, drawing out the attention to the threats on Anastasia’s (Dakota Johnson) life.

Here are the three darkest scenes from the extended trailer of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequel.

Leila Williams stalks Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele

Leila Williams (Bella Heathcote) is first spotted in the two-minute teaser looking at Christian (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia (Johnson) from a distance. In the book written by E.L. James, it was revealed that Leila will not only try to get Christian back, she will also go for extreme measures to try and get rid of Anastasia. The promo ends with Leila pointing a gun at Anastasia.

Mrs. Robinson threatens Anastasia

In another scene, Mrs. Robinson (Kim Basinger) intimidates Anastasia by asking what her true intentions are for Christian. Mrs. Robinson has known the latter for several years since she was also the one who introduced him into the world of BDSM.

Jack Hyde forces himself on Anastasia

New character Jack Hyde (Eric Johnson), Anastasia’s boss, will try to manipulate her. In one of the scenes, Jack presses Anastasia against the wall and asks her if she would rather be kept or have respect for herself. In another scene, Jack also tells Anastasia that Christian has a bad reputation so she should stay away from him.

“Fifty Shades Darker” is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10.
