The first official trailer for the ‘No Time to Die’ finally hit the internet and people can’t stop talking about the newest mysterious villain, a terrorist named Safin who is played by “Bohemian Rhapsody’s” Rami Malek.

The trailer for the nicknamed “James Bond 25” first re-introduces us to some characters we’re already familiar with, including the return of a previous villain, Ernst Stavro Blofeld from “Spectre,” played by Christoph Waltz. Then we finally get our first impressions of Malek’s eccentric terrorist character in the form of a wispy, yet louring voice with an unfamiliar accent.

We’re first introduced to glimpses of Safin: an overhead shot of him walking through the snow wearing a beige winter coat and holding a weapon, for example, as well as one with his covered face peering through a foggy, translucent glass door.

Safin’s mysterious presence continues throughout the trailer. His scarred face makes only minute appearances, most of it seen partially through a shattered mask, reminiscent of “The Phantom of the Opera.”

Following Safin’s villainous speech, Daniel Craig’s Bond responds: “History isn’t kind to men who play God…”

After this moment, we finally see a full view of his face when he turns to look at Bond. Malek’s Safin is dressed notably well against Bond’s usual attire, along with slicked-back jet black hair. His face appears to be severely scarred, a common motif amongst Bond villains.

Another thing that’s been exciting fans is the introduction to Lashana Lynch’s character, a fellow “double-0” agent. This confirms an ongoing fan theory that Lynch’s character is at least somewhat of an equal to Bond, if not replacing him by the movie’s end entirely since Craig has said this will be his last time portraying the character of James Bond.
