"Flip or Flop" star Christina El Moussa has called it quits with her boyfriend Nate Thompson just months into their casual dating, a source told Entertainment Tonight Tuesday. The news comes just two days after Tarek El Moussa's estranged wife was spotted cheering for the Anaheim Ducks team Sunday evening.

"Nothing dramatic happened -- it was super casual from the start, and they were never an official couple to begin with," the source told ET. "Bad timing on both their ends never really let it evolve into something serious. They remain friends and there are no bad feelings between them at all."

Christina and 32-year-old Thompson called things off a couple of days before the news of their romance surfaced, the source said, adding that the Anaheim Ducks is currently back together with his ex-girlfriend, Pilates instructor Sydney Kaplan. Thompson and Kaplan were last seen together in public during an ESPYs after-party last July.

Last month, another source told ET that Christina and Thompson had gone on a couple of dates together and things are "still very new and they're seeing where it goes."

Christina and Thompson's dating rumors started last month just weeks after the mother of two announced her break up with Gary Anderson. While talking in an interview about her breakup with Anderson, Christina said that she had no plans to start dating anyone anytime soon, but reports of her alleged romance with Thompson made the rounds. Her representative, however, said the two are just friends.

Last week in an interview with Today, the mother of two said she and Tarek, who filed for divorce in January after their split, are peacefully working on their co-parenting as they continue to film their HGTV show.

"The best part is that we're both flexible," Christina said. "We both travel a lot, so if one of us is gone, the other picks up the slack. It's all about communication. Both of us are feeling really good. The kids are extraordinarily happy."
