Just days after a window sticker for the Ford (F) F-150 Lightning pickup was leaked on a fan forum, CEO Jim Farley has confirmed the EPA driving range estimates for the truck in a tweet on Monday.

The window sticker revealed the F-150 Lighting Monroney – an entry-level trim – had an estimated EPA range of 230 miles on a single battery charge with the standard battery pack and more than 300 miles with the extended-range battery. Both estimates were in line with Ford’s website for mileage ratings.

Farley confirmed the leak, saying in a tweet that the standard trim level of the XLT, Lariat and Pro trims of the F-150 Lightning would have a range of 230 miles. But an upgrade to the extended-range battery would jump that mileage range to 320 miles, according to the CEO’s tweet.

The Platinum version of the electric F-150 truck, which is only available with the larger battery, would see an EPA estimated 300-mile range, Farley said.

“That's 20 more miles than our initial target for ER,” Farley wrote in his post.

Pricing on the F-150 Lightning was also disclosed in the leaked window sticker, placing the entry-level truck at $41,669, according to the forum post. With the extended-range battery, the truck’s price tag bumps up to the $74,000 price range, but comes with a series of other features.

Ford has capped reservations of the Lightning at 200,000 units and doubled its production capacity to 150,000 units annually by mid-2023.

The Lightning truck is expected to begin deliveries this summer.

As of Monday at 12:32 p.m. ET, shares of Ford were trading at $16.61, down 25 cents, or 1.48%.
