The man was transported to a hospital when his condition worsened and died while riding the ambulance.

Fort Worth detectives are still investigating the incident.

The man is another victim of the string of shootings that recently occurred in Fort Worth.

Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported last Sunday evening that police responded to a shooting that occurred at the 3900 block of Avenue J and found a victim with a gunshot wound to the chest.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and according to Officer Bradley Perez the police had no suspects as of Sunday.

Other than the current victim, another unnamed man died in a shooting at a Trinity Railway Express Station at 14400 Statler Boulevard, on Nov. 1.

There have also been other instances of shooting, where a 28-year-old black woman had been mistakenly shot by the police after receiving a call.
