The official announcement of Epic Games for the upcoming themed bundle of its hit game “Fortnite” reportedly revealed the arrival of PS5 and Xbox Series X. While Sony maintains the Holiday 2020 release window, Microsoft recently announced that the Xbox Series X would sometime in November.

Epic Games’ Latest Announcement

The most recent announcement made by game developer Epic Games may have revealed the arrival date of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, according to Gamingbolt. In its official post, Epic Games said that “Fortnite” would soon be receiving the Batman or a Joker-themed bundle. Dubbed as "The Last Laugh Bundle," the post noted that it would be out on November 17, 2020.

While Epic Games did not directly state that the next-gen gaming consoles’ Xbox Series X and PS5 would arrive at the same date, the announcement somehow implied it. According to Gamingbolt, the announcement seemingly narrowed down the timeline for when the industry could expect the Xbox Series X and PS5. It stated that The Last Laugh Bundle would arrive on November 17 on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

With the release window of both next-gen consoles fast approaching, fans could expect more information making rounds online.

Other Next-Gen Console Details

A recent listing by Target may have reportedly confirmed the existence of the Xbox Series S or Xbox Lockhart. The listing describes the console as Xbox One S version 2 and retails at $299. While Microsoft has not yet confirmed that it is preparing to release a much cheaper version of the Xbox Series X, leaks and rumors claimed otherwise.

Meanwhile, game developer TimeKill Media recently shoot down rumors that PS5 is struggling to achieve 4k. The “Quantum Error” developer said that its upcoming game is already running at running at 4K/ 65-70 FPS unoptimized.
