Fosters Season 4
Marianna (Cierra Ramirez) and Mat (Jordan Rodrigues) will realize that someone saw their kiss in “The Fosters” Season 4 premiere. Freeform

“The Fosters” will return to Freeform with new episodes Monday, but fans will first want to remember everything that happened in the drama’s Season 3 finale. After all, the Season 4 premiere will have to deal with several cliffhangers. Check out where all of your favorite characters left off:

Callie — After discovering Justina (Kelli Williams) placed Jack (Tanner Buchanan) in the foster home where he was killed, Callie (Maia Mitchell) called out Justina at the “Fost and Found” launch party. Callie discouraged attendees from voting for Justina’s bill, and Justina retaliated by telling the press about the restraining order that Lena (Sherri Saum) and Stef (Teri Polo) took out to prevent Brandon (David Lambert) and Callie from seeing each other. Local reporters cornered Callie and asked her if it’s true that she slept with her foster brother. The moms wanted to sue Justina for creating such rumors, but Callie tearfully admitted that it’s true.

Brandon — Cortney’s (Denyse Tontz) husband Eddie (Tip Scarry) caught her in bed with Brandon, so he kicked her out of the house and cleaned out their joint bank account. Brandon used his money for Juilliard to rent a house for Cortney.

Jesus — The wrestler may have gotten Lena into some trouble. Jesus (Noah Centineo) revealed that his biological father Gabe (Brandon) worked on the school play’s sets. Since Gabe is a registered sex offender, he isn’t allowed to be near Anchor Beach Charter School. He could face jail time.

Jude — After Jack’s death, Jude (Hayden Byerly) started questioning his sexuality and spirituality. He wondered if God was telling him that he shouldn’t be gay, but Callie assured him that Jack didn’t really have feelings for Jude. She said that Jack just felt bad for Jude, and that’s why he kissed Callie’s brother. However, Jude doesn’t trust Callie anymore. He kissed a girl, Taylor (Izabela Vidovic), but audiences didn’t see his reaction.

Marianna — Mat (Jordan Rodrigues) and Marianna (Cierra Ramirez) are in love, but they decided not to move forward with a relationship. They shared one last kiss and decided to go their separate ways. They didn’t want to hurt anyone, but it may be too late. Marianna’s boyfriend Nick (Louis Hunter) became violent after he saw them kiss. He burned down the “R&J” set and then brought a gun to school.

In the Season 4 premiere, Callie will have to deal with the consequences of telling her moms the truth. Of course, they won’t be able to focus on Callie for too long. Nick will send Anchor Beach into lockdown, but Marianna won’t be able to get to her classroom in time. She’ll be on her own during the scary event.
