Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade welcomed three young students onto his show Wednesday morning and one of them gave him a run for his money when he started talking politics.

Sixth-grader Mason Seder and the other students were asked about virtual learning and what they miss most about being in school. Seder gave a very surprising answer that the “Fox & Friends” host may not have been expecting.

“I miss, most obviously, seeing my friends and all the after-school activities that I have done. And I think that we’re very, very close to getting back to school. And I think that the way that our new president is handling things is a very good way and we would not have gone to this if it were still the last president,” Seder stated.

President Joe Biden has pushed for students and educators to return to school, with the proper precautions. Over the weekend, Biden even released a “5-step roadmap” to get schools reopened safely, NBC reported.

Kilmeade quickly shared his opinion on the sixth-grader’s response and moved on to the next question.

“Really?” asked Kilmeade “That’s hard to believe because the last president was saying ‘I want every kid back in school.’”

In summer 2020, former President Donald Trump and his administration pressed for schools around the U.S. to reopen despite many educators' calls that it would be unsafe.
