The official website released spoiler stills and synopsis for "Fruits Basket" Season 3, Episode 1, teasing that the episode will be a heavy one for the fans. Tohru learns Akito is a woman.

Kureno reveals that the Soma family has several secrets, but this is the biggest one. Tohru is confused as she wonders why Akito acts like a boy while the other members of the zodiac don't treat her like a woman.

Kureno then tells her Akito was raised as a boy by her mother Ren.

Later, Kureno reveals that Ren believes Akito's bond with the zodiac is wrong and she thinks it is unnatural. Akito and Ren are always in conflict with each other.

Akito's truth is too much to handle for Tohru as she cries out loud. Later, Hanajima appears and asks Tohru to stay the night at her place.

Tohru opens up to Hanajima and tells her that she is always causing trouble for others. She feels she is powerless and useless. However, Hanajima tells her that she takes other people's feelings and cherishes them with utmost care.
