A leak reveals Samsung’s plan to offer an important accessory to make up for the Galaxy Note 10’s lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Earlier reports revealed just how gorgeous the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 is, and how the standard and Plus version differ from each other in terms of specs. The upcoming devices will appeal to both power users and those who just want a nice Samsung smartphone with the best specs. The only thing that’s missing on the upcoming flagship is a headphone jack.

Previous reports revealed how Samsung decided to walk on Apple’s path and ditch the beloved feature that most audiophiles and wired headphone users love. A new report, however, shows how the Korean tech giant plans to compensate for the removal of the beloved feature: by including accessories in the package.

Accessories

A leak from noted insider Evan Blass (spotted by BGR) showed an image displaying a placeholder text that mobile carrier Sprint is using for the Galaxy Note 10’s preorder period. The text called the device “DaVinci” (the Note 10’s internal name). The image showed the device, the S Pen leaning to it, and some accessories to the right.

The accessories pictured there include the Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds, and a wireless charger. The leaked promotional photo didn’t explicitly say that all accessories will come bundled with the device when preordered. It’s also unclear if Samsung (or Sprint) will let buyers choose one from the three.

Samsung is expected to ship a pair of USB-C headphones along with the Galaxy Note 10 as per WinFuture, but should the tech giant decide to ship the smartphone with a pair of Galaxy Buds in tow, that would be a great bonus.

Samsung France already listed a version of the wireless headphones that comes in a rumored “Aurora Glow” color that matches the Galaxy Note 10’s color gradient, indicating the company’s plan to turn the Galaxy Buds into the perfect Note 10 accessory.

Of course, this isn’t confirmed at the moment. The Korean tech company, however, is expected to reveal the Galaxy Note 10 within a few weeks’ time. Better stay tuned for more details.
