"Game of Thrones" Season 5 will feature many new characters and the first episode, "The Wars to Come," keeps it simple by introducing two major factions that will cause problems for Cersei Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen. Dorne and House Martell will have to wait for another episode, so let's meet the Sparrows and the Sons of the Harpy.

Warning: Full 'Game of Thrones' Season 5 spoilers ahead.

Sons Of The Harpy

In Meereen, an Unsullied is killed by a member of the Sons of the Harpy. In "A Dance With Dragons," the "Sons of the Harpy" are a group of that oppose Daenerys' rule -- likely noble families and slavemasters. In "Dragons," the Sons slowly work their way up to killing an Unsullied. The members cause trouble and general unrest in Meereen. Daenerys will have to make a few tough decisions in Season 5 if she wants to regain control of the Yunkai, Meereen and Astapor. Hizdahr zo Loraq proposes reopening the fighting pits and Daario agrees that it will bring about some level of peace to the city.

Sparrows

Cousin Lancel has shaved his head and renounced his romantic relationship with Cersei. A sparrow is dedicated to the Faith of the Seven and the High Septon, also known as the High Sparrow. While the Sparrows seem like nothing more than a fanatical religious group, they will cause Cersei problems in "Game of Thrones" Season 5.

Maggy The Frog

Maggy the Frog makes an appearance in the beginning of "The Wars to Come." She reads Cersei's future and accurately predicts who she will marry and the number of children she will have. There are other interesting aspects to the prophecy, including a younger, more beautiful woman who will take over as queen. In George R.R. Martin's novels, Maggy is depicted as an old and terrifying woman who begrudgingly reveals Cersei's future.

'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Discussion

For those who have read "A Song of Ice and Fire," the Sons of the Harpy and the Sparrows will be interesting factions throughout the season. Daenerys will need to establish peace in her kingdom and the Sons will not be the only problem she will have to deal with this season. Yunkai will rebel and disease will be another concern for Daenerys.

As for Cersei, she will soon lift a law that lets religious groups bear arms. She will cross the High Septon more than once this season and we all know the walk of penance will happen at some point.
