"Genshin Impact" update 1.2 now allows players to explore the new Dragonspine area that introduces new features, questlines, creatures, weapons and a new rewards system. It also rewards players each time they ascend a character to Level 20, Level 50 and Level 70. For those who wish to take advantage of the game's new reward system and claim Acquaint Fates for free, here are some useful tips.

How To Get Acquaint Fates For Free

Before players could get their free Acquaint Fates, it is important that the app they are using is up to date. For those who have not yet updated their apps, they could just download the latest content. Players should log in to the game and check their mail to receive free Primogems. At this point, players should have 600 Primogems in total as part of the tweaks to characters and maintenance periods made by miHoYo.

To claim the free Acquaint Fates, players should go to the game's Character Menu and choose the character on Level 20 or higher. Players should look for the star with an upward arrow-like icon on the top-right corner of the screen. This is the latest Ascension Material Preview tab, which players have to click on.

Players will see the stars that represent the different ascension levels of an in-game character. Click on the stars for Level 20, Level 50, or Level 70 based on availability. Players need to click on the Claim button to get the free Acquaint Fate. For new characters, "Genshin Impact" players need to ascend them to any of the levels and follow the same steps to claim the free Acquaint Fate from the newly ascended character.

Other Details

For the uninitiated, Acquaint Fate functions as the standard summon in the hit gacha game. It enables players to make one Wish that they could use on the in-game Standard Banner. Unfortunately, the latest Ascension Rewards are only for Acquaint Fates. In other words, players would not be able to use this for a shot at new characters featured in the Special Character Banner.
