Genshin Impact's latest in-game event, Hypostatic Symphony, is now on its third day and it introduces a new type of hard-to-defeat boss. The Day 3 challenge, called the Stone Heart Sonata I, features the Pure Geo Hypostasis opponent.

For players looking for ways to defeat the new enemy, these tips might come in handy.

"Genshin Impact" players who have experienced farming the normal Geo Hypostasis in Guyun Stone Forest probably know how the fight in Challenge 3 goes. But, the Pure Geo Hypostasis has some tricks that some players are not aware of. Players should take note of the four pillars that have spawned.

The boss no longer teleports on these pillars in quick succession but hovers over the same pillar until players destroy it. Using the Crystal Pellet attack will not do the trick and instead, players should activate the other pillars. These pillars will then turn into turrets and blast players.

If the Pure Geo Hypostasis remains on a particular pillar for a long time during the battle, the pillar will burst. There will also be barrages of pellets, which could hurt the players. Players can stay behind the pillar where the boss is floating to dodge these projectiles.

The Pure Geo Hypostasis has a tweaked Rock Seal ability. This seal erupts three times and when that happens, players should run. As soon as the pillar is destroyed, three Geo shield crystals will spawn on it. Players should pick up all of them to temporarily nullify the damage caused by the barrage of pellets.

Also, players should activate the shields to protect the characters as one of the modifiers can decrease their ATK. The boss will teleport to a new pillar after players destroy the first pillar and do some DPS. Players should immediately break the geo cube near the pillar to create a force field and continue cracking the other pillars while avoiding the pellets.

When the players destroy all four pillars, the boss will release his Gilded Tile ability that causes a room-wide shockwave every five seconds. Players could stop this by destroying the four diamonds in the area and by picking up crystals to mitigate the effect. When the boss becomes weak, it will do the final stand. Players should destroy the three pillars to finish the battle.
