The full official trailer for the new Godzilla movie, which is to come out May 16, did its job: Plenty of people are excited to see the film. Though the sneak peek doesn’t fully show the horrifying creature in any of the shots, it successfully creates a nerve-wracking mood that has many anticipated the film’s release and created much more buzz than when the first teaser was shared.

The audio teasers for the movie were released Monday, so it came as a real treat to fans when actual footage of director Gareth Edwards’ coming Godzilla reboot was shared on Tuesday. But for those who were upset that the massive monster’s face wasn’t shown, the creature in its entirety can be checked out on Empire magazine’s cover, the Telegraph wrote.

The film's British director told the magazine how he came up with the idea for the monster’s face: "Trying to get the face right was the main thing,” he said. “I guess he's got more of a bear's face, or a dog's. We also used eagle. There's a lot of nobility in an eagle. It made him feel very majestic and noble."

“Breaking Bad’s” Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen star in the flick, which the Internet Movie Database simply describes as: “A giant radioactive monster called Godzilla appears to wreak destruction on mankind.”

In the first teaser, viewers just got to see a bunch of soldiers air-dropping onto what looked like the back of the beast, but the official trailer successfully gives audiences to feel and the enormous size of Edwards’ Godzilla. He wreaks havoc across the nation from San Francisco to Las Vegas, leaving destruction everywhere. The original Godzilla attacked Tokyo, of course.
