Sorry, but the doctor is not on call tonight.

Not only is there no new episode of “The Good Doctor” tonight on ABC, but there won’t be for a few weeks. The Freddie Highmore series aired its Season 2 midseason finale last week, titled “Quarantine,” which means fans will have to wait until the show returns in 2019 for its midseason premiere.

There’s no title yet for the next new broadcast, which will be episode 11 of the season, nor is there a summary for it, but at least the air date has been announced. Season 2 of “The Good Doctor” comes back on Jan. 14. Until then, all of the already-aired episodes can be rewatched on Hulu.

For those who forgot what happened in the most recent episode, here’s what the synopsis had to share:

“Dr. Shaun Murphy and Dr. Alex Park treat two patients who collapse at the local airport and whose symptoms point to an infection that may become airborne. The staff races to contain the infection before it spreads to the rest of the patients in the ER, resulting in a hospital quarantine during the holidays.”

Check out new episodes of “The Good Doctor” Season 2 when it returns on ABC on Jan. 14 at 10 p.m. EST.
