Patrick Dempsey might be saying "stop in the name of love" to his estranged wife Jillian Fink. Despite filing for divorce in January, reports say the couple might eventually call the divorce off.

TMZ reports that the two might be heading in the direction to cancel their divorce after Dempsey has been trying to fix the relationship. It is believed that the biggest issue between the two is Dempsey's love for racing cars and being away from his family for long periods of time while out racing.

A source told Us Weekly, the two have been going on dates and are "trying" to once again be a couple. Fink filed for divorce in January saying there were "irreconcilable differences." The source added that Dempsey took responsibility for the divorce.

"He was going through a bit of a midlife crisis," the source dished. "But he’s snapping out of it."

The former "Grey's Anatomy" star and Fink have three kids together, 13-year old Tallulah and eight-year-old twins Darby and Sullivan. Fink was seeking spousal support and joint custody of the children in the divorce.

Over the weekend, the two were seen in France holding hands in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood, according to People. Fink, 49, is over in Europe working as a make-up artist for Jennifer Lawrence for the upcoming "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" premieres. The 49-year-old actor has also been overseas filming "Bridget Jones's Baby" in London.

The couple married in July 1999. When their split after 15 years of marriage was announced in January, a source told People "it was a long time coming."

"They were never going to make it work, but they tried," the family source said. "They have had disagreements for a long time."

Dempsey is known for his role as Dr. Derek Sheppard on the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy." He spent 11 seasons on the show before being killed off in May.
