President Donald Trump, in an exclusive interview Wednesday night with Fox News' "Hannity," spoke about the end of Robert Mueller’s investigation, release of FISA applications used to spy on his presidential campaign, the "phoney dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton," and his favorite Fox News hosts.

Trump vowed to release the full and unredacted Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants and related documents used by the FBI to probe his campaign. Wednesday's interview was Trump's first since the end of Robert Mueller’s investigation. He told anchor Sean Hannity that his lawyers previously had advised him not to release the documents fearing it could be considered obstruction of justice.

"I do, I have plans to declassify and release. I have plans to absolutely release," Trump said. "I have some very talented people working for me, lawyers, and they really didn't want me to do it early on. ... A lot of people wanted me to do it a long time ago. I'm glad I didn't do it. We got a great result without having to do it, but we will. One of the reasons that my lawyers didn't want me to do it, is they said, if I do it, they'll call it a form of obstruction."

Trump added: "Frankly, thought it would be better if we held it to the end. But at the right time, we will be absolutely releasing."

Trump also accused former FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page of committing "treason." He slammed former FBI Director James Comey as a "terrible guy," former CIA Director John Brennan as potentially mentally ill, and Democrat House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff as a criminal.

“If the Republican party had done this to the Democrats, if we had done this to President Obama you’d have a hundred people in jail right now, it’d be treason,” Trump said.

The president also said Mueller’s team was populated by Hillary Clinton supporters and the investigation was part of a greater Democratic smear campaign against him.

“I will tell you this about Russia,” Trump said. “If they had anything on me, it would have come out a long time ago.”

The president even went on to say that it would have been more reasonable for Russia to promote Clinton as its preferred candidate.

“You look at all of the different things, Russia would’ve much rather had Hillary than Donald Trump. I can tell you that right now,” Trump told Hannity.

Amid the attack on the investigation against him, the president complimented several Fox News hosts and other “fair” media figures. He also expressed his “hope” that the Saturday “Justice with Judge Jeanine” host would be “back soon.”

“Fortunately, we have had some incredible people that really were fair,” said Trump. “When you mention Rush [Limbaugh] or Mark Levin, or Steve Doocy, and Ainsley [Earhardt] in the morning, and Brian [Kilmeade] and Laura [Ingraham], Jesse [Watters], Jeanine [Pirro] — I hope Jeanine’s back soon.”

To this, Hannity replied saying: "She’s back Saturday.”

While there was no official announcement about Pirro's suspension, her show didn't air for two weeks in a row. It is believed that her alleged suspension was a result of her comments implying that Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar does not support the U.S. Constitution.
