Hearthstone Global Games Blizzard

P4nyh0f and Sintolol have been banned from the Hearthstone Global Games and it had nothing to do with Forsen. A statement released by Blizzard today says: “In the light of recent, inappropriate, and unsportsmanlike comments made by Thomas “Sintolol” Zimmer and Mats “P4wnyhof” Kathage, we have decided to rescind their invitation to represent Team Germany in the upcoming Hearthstone Global Games.”

Forsen, one of Hearthstone’s most popular streamers said he would rescind his invitation to the Global Games if P4nyh0f was allowed to participate. Many members of the Hearthstone community have labeled P4nyh0f a cheater because of an event he ran in 2014. Other streamers, like Thijs, also agreed to back out of the tournament if P4nyh0f was allowed in, but only Forsen acted on his promise.

So, you’d think with all that dirt Forsen kicked up, that would have been enough to get P4nyh0f banned? Turns out, Forsen’s crusade had very little or nothing to do with the actual decision from Blizzard. Sintolol and P4nyh0f were banned because of a Discord conversation between the two that escalated very quickly. P4nyh0f made fun of Sintolol’s two dads in a homophobic slight, which led to Sintolol calling the other guy “mentally handicapped”.

Sintolol and P4nyh0f bickered like children and now they are banned from a Hearthstone tournament. Blizzard doesn't like to call it a “children’s card game,” but here it feels very appropriate.
