Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck finally tied the knot in a surprise wedding in Las Vegas Saturday night, but the 49-year-old Academy Award winner’s daughter was reported missing from the scene.

A well-placed Hollywood source confirmed to Page Six that Affleck’s 16-year-old daughter, Violet, stayed home because of her extreme loyalty toward her mom Jennifer Garner despite the actor telling them about the upcoming wedding.

“Ben did tell Jen about the wedding, but I’m told that it was only Friday at the earliest. It was very, very minimally planned in advance and was largely spur of the moment. Violet stayed home because she’s extremely loyal to her mom,” the source said.

In the 52-year-old singer and actress’ exclusive newsletter, called OnTheJLo, she shared the details of what happened during the wedding and mentioned that all five kids were present.

However, the unnamed source said that the only children in attendance were Lopez’s daughter Emme, 14, and Affleck’s other daughter Seraphina, 13.

The newlyweds have five kids in total from their past relationships. Lopez shares Emme and her twin brother Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. Meanwhile, aside from Seraphina and Violet, Affleck has another child with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, a 10-year-old boy named Samuel.

The source did not mention why the other children did not attend the most-anticipated wedding of the year.

While Lopez and Affleck were busy with their romantic rendezvous in Sin City, the 50-year-old “13 Going on 30” star was reportedly spending a relaxing weekend in Lake Tahoe, California, Sunday.

Garner seemed unbothered by all the reports circulating as she continued to document her adventures on her Instagram Stories. In one post, she was seen beaming at the camera with cycling gear attached to her body.

Garner and Affleck married in 2005 and divorced in 2018. Since then, Garner has remained silent about her ex-husband’s “publicized romances” with “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus and former Cuban actress Ana de Armas.

However, Garner commented on her ex-husband during an interview with Howard Stern in December 2021, saying the Hollywood actor would “probably” still be drinking if he remained with Garner.

But one comment left Garner and some of her friends in disbelief. The Oscar-winning actor told Howard Stern in December 2021 that he would “probably” still be drinking if he remained with Garner.

The “Justice League” star was suffering from alcohol addiction through the years during their marriage, and he was reportedly in and out of rehab.

During that time, an industry insider who knows the ex-couple commented on the statement saying, “It’s disgusting … Jen has been the only one picking him up time and time again when he’s done horrible things — fallen off the wagon or worse.”

“Ben’s comments were ridiculous, and you could see that fans of Jen were so upset too. But, of course, she has never wanted him to be anything other than happy and sober, and I’m sure she wishes him well [on his new marriage],” another industry source told Page Six this week.

But the controversy did not stop the “Jenny from the Block” singer from getting her happy ending with Affleck, despite their first wedding being canceled in 2003 and both going through different relationships afterward.

The pair reunited 20 years later in early 2021, shortly after Lopez split from her ex-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez.

On Sunday, Lopez made an informal change of name when she signed off on her newsletter, writing, “With Love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”

Although it’s uncertain whether it was made for the sake of the announcement, according to the couple’s marriage certificate obtained by Page Six via Clark Country records, it showed that she planned to legally use “Affleck” moving forward.

The “Marry Me” actress also subtly announced the news of the wedding via an Instagram post on the same day, which said, “Sadie! #iykyk Go to OnTheJLo for all the deets.”

The post received massive support and congratulations from fans and Hollywood personalities, including “The Kardashians” star and Skims founder Kim Kardashian, who commented three red heart emojis.
