Bigbang's T.O.P. created a buzz on Twitter on Wednesday after he posted a photo featuring the remaining four members of the famous second-generation Korean boyband on his Instagram page.

The 34-year-old K-pop idol simply captioned his post, "#ilovemyband #ilovemyfans." His post garnered over a million likes from fans, who also took to the comments section to announce their loyalty and support for the group. The group is yet to make an official comeback after their last album in 2016.

The photo was not new. It was actually an old image of the group, which T.O.P. photoshopped to include only the remaining members. Bigbang is left with G-Dragon, Daesung, Taeyang and T.O.P. after Seungri departed from the group and retired from the entertainment industry in 2019. He was facing charges of supplying prostitutes to potential investors of a club in Seoul that he managed. Seungri was convicted by a military court in August 2021 and was sentenced to three years in prison.

Many Bigbang fans, known as VIPs, believe T.O.P. was hinting at an imminent comeback for the group.

"TOP from Bigbang posted a picture on his Insta with GD, Daesung and Taeyang like IS THIS A COMEBACK??? IS THE COMEBACK REAL?? #BIGBANG," user @sykoops said.

Some fans offered their own explanation on why T.O.P. suddenly posted a photo featuring the four members.

"There is nothing wrong with what Top did Seungri is RETIRED right now. Bigbang signed contracts to comeback as 4 in the future. Stop acting like our boys can't decide for themselves. It's a case of damned if you do and be damned if you don't," user @ iamrealllCM said.

Another fan tried to explain the meaning behind an Instagram Story posted by Seoul-based Club DJ Glory. The post showed five colorful daisies with the word "Bigbang" written across it.

"Glory...I knew I trusted him. He put 5 daisies. Do you see that there is something underneath? For those who are criticizing Bigbang or insulting TOP please stop. Glory knows what's going on, those 5 daisies I don't take as a coincidence, no matter what you say, that's it for me," the fan said.

The fans sent a protest truck to YG Entertainment's office last November demanding the boyband's return to the music scene.
