Annalise was given the name of the man who may have had Nate’s father killed, but on “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 5, episode 14, the defense attorney will question whether she was given false information.

“Annalise (Viola Davis) is determined to get to the truth about Nate Sr.’s (Glynn Turman) murder and will stop at nothing until she does,” the synopsis for “Make Me The Enemy” teases.

In the promo video for the ABC primetime series, Annalise asks Emmett (Timothy Hutton) if he is covering up something. Emmett is then seen responding to her question with an uncomfortable laugh.

In the previous episode, Governor Birkhead (Laura Innes) told Annalise she had nothing to do with Nate Sr.’s murder but knows who did. She then handed the lawyer a folder with contents on Emmett.

While it is unclear what was actually in the folder, it appears Annalise is willing to push the limits to find out who killed Nate Sr., but will she try to prove Emmett’s innocence in the process?

In the previous episode of “HTGAWM,” Annalise and Emmett shared a special moment where they almost kissed but she stopped the lip lock before it could happen? Will Annalise began to develop feelings for Emmett or realize he has an ulterior motive for getting close to her?

Elsewhere in the “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 5, episode 14 promo video, Connor (Jack Falahee) realizes that someone one knows everything. In the previous episode, the FBI took Connor and Oliver’s (Conrad Ricamora) wedding photos as well as Oliver’s laptop.
