Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle defied the expectations of them.

Prince Harry was very close to Prince William and Middleton. The Duke of Sussex was often seen with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in various royal engagements prompting fans to call them “the royal trio.”

When Prince Harry started dating Markle, royal followers were hoping that the royal trio would be fab four. Many thought that Middleton and Markle would be close friends especially that they are close in age. However, there was no fab four because they were divided.

According to entertainment reporter Ashley Pearson, the two duchesses defied the people’s expectations from them by not forging a close friendship. However, she understands why it wasn’t easy for Middleton and Markle to do it.

“Meghan and Kate probably don’t have much in common,” Pearson said on 2019 Amazon Prime documentary “ Harry and Meghan: When Two Became Three.”

According to Pearson, Middleton and Markle are not teenagers that one takes on a trip hoping that they would get along. They are fully formed women with their own styles and opinions and they have different takes when it comes to the royal protocol.

Middleton “very much follows the royal protocol” and doesn’t put a step wrong. On the other hand, Markle is “challenging the royal norms.” Pearson said that she was sure about this because the Duchess of Sussex has already done things that are markedly different from what any other royals has done.

“So I think the women are very different,” she concluded.

In related news, Markle was accused of using her son Archie for a PR stunt. In her recent speech, the Duchess of Sussex seemed to be in a hurry to rush back home to feed her baby. However, some netizens took it against Markle by questioning her who fed Archie when she flew to New York for two days to support her pal Serena Williams at the US Open finals and bond with her celebrity friends.

There are also rumors that Prince Harry and Markle are considering a tell-all interview with an American broadcaster. Dan Wootton warned the couple that once they did it, they might be criticized by the UK media.
