The much-anticipated Ford (F) F-150 Lightning pickup truck will finally launch on April 26 in a live streaming event.

Viewers can tune into the event online http://ford.to/LightningStrikes at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Ford will celebrate the start of production of the electric truck, which will be built at its Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Dearborn, Michigan.

Ford employees and F-150 Lightning customers will be in attendance at the event, which the automaker said was the “first-ever full-size all-electric pickup to go on sale, a milestone moment in the country’s shift to electric vehicles” – a likely jab at GM, which isn’t launching the Chevy Silverado EV until 2024 and Stellantis, which hasn’t announced plans for an electric Ram truck.

Details on the F-150 Lightning include an EPA-estimated range of 320 miles on a single charge, according to Ford’s website. The truck also delivers 563 horsepower and 775 lb-ft. of torque. And it has a max payload of 2,000 pounds and can tow up to 10,000 pounds.

Starting price of the F-150 Lightning is just under $40,000 for the base model Pro.

Ford said as much as $7,500 in federal tax credits are available for buyers depending on where they live and their personal tax situation.

As of Thursday at 11:57 a.m. ET, shares of Ford were trading at $15.59, up 7 cents, or 0.48%.
