A video of a fearless cop from Michigan removing a python effortlessly that went viral on Facebook left the social media users jaw-dropped. The video shows the cop drawing the snake out of the engine and placing it inside a container.

Officer Fettig was sent to attend the scene immediately after a security guard informed the Shelby Township Police Department about a python that was on the loose. The officer found the python using a car’s engine as its hideout, according to a report by WXYZ Detroit.

"Honestly, if it was a different type of snake I would probably be a little afraid, but I've dealt with (a python) before," WXYZ Detroit's report quoted Fettig as saying.

The Facebook post in question was shared by Shelby Township Police Department captioned as “This is probably NOT the kind of call Officer Fettig expected to take tonight.” The post came tailored with a video of the cop pulling the snake out from its retreat. While the incident had the onlookers in cold sweat, the officer wore a triumphant smile all while.

There were a few relevant hashtags like #CantMakeThisStuffUp, #TheEngineIsMakingAWeirdNoise, and #NopeRope, that were added to the post to widen its visibility. Shelby Township Police Department guessed that the python might be someone’s pet. “Oh, and is anyone in the area of Hamlin and Ryan missing their pet Python?” they wrote in the post.

The post garnered a lot of reactions from the people on Facebook. A Facebook user said, “I heard of squirrels under the hood and a cat once, but that’s the 1st python!” Designating a lighter adjective to snake a Facebook user said, “Adorable snake!” Another Facebook post read, “Nope. Nope. Nope. Braver than me!” and then someone said, “Oh my goodness! I don’t care if you choose to have a pet python but please for the sake of my heart, keep it in a cage so it can’t get out. If I found this in my car I would have had a heart attack.”

The Facebook users went into a tizzy to see what police believed to be a pet python. The video would have surely given them a sleepless night.
