Avicularia avicularia, sometimes called the pinktoe tarantula, is a species of tarantula native to the southern Caribbean and is also found from Costa Rica to Brazil, Theraphosidae reported. This arboreal species is also called the Guyana pinktoe, common pinktoe, or South American pinktoe.
