Jazz Jennings is getting candid about the struggles behind her recent weight gain.

In a trailer released Monday for Season 7 of Jennings’ TLC reality series "I Am Jazz," the 21-year-old transgender activist revealed that her eating habits changed amid her mental health struggles and that she's gained nearly 100 pounds in two years.

"I do experience fat-shaming from my family," Jennings said. "It makes me feel really humiliated."

Jennings explained that two years ago, she had plans to attend Harvard University. However, she ultimately decided to defer going in order to "refocus and recenter" following a busy year.

"I was actually struggling severely with mental health issues. I started binge-eating and I gained weight and more weight and more weight. And now, almost 100 pounds heavier, here I am today," she said.

At one point, she talked about her typical breakfast, which was "fast food, maybe a doughnut or two, and then two bagels." Jennings' family also revealed that she sometimes will "fall off the wagon."

In another scene, Jennings removed her shirt and exposed her "big old belly" as she posed for photos in a sports bra and athletic shorts.

She also shared that the activities she used to enjoy, such as kickball and tennis, are now more challenging due to the added weight.

"I'm out of shape. Be easy on me," the reality star told her loved ones, before adding in a confessional, "Having all this extra weight, I can't do so many things with my body that I used to be able to do."

Jennings first revealed that she suffers from binge eating disorder in an Instagram post back in June. She shared side-by-side photos of herself from before and after her weight gain and accompanied them with a lengthy caption addressing the "substantial amount of weight" she gained.

The TLC star explained that her disorder, along with "an increased appetite" caused by medications she takes, resulted in her nearly 100-pound weight gain within the last two years.

"My binging, along with an increased appetite I experience from some of the meds I’m on, has caused me to gain almost 100 pounds in a little less than 2 years," she said.

Jennings told fans that she wanted to hold herself accountable and that she was "ready to change my ways" and "turn over a new leaf."

"I Am Jazz" Season 7 premieres on Nov. 30 at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
