Several students of the University of Idaho recalled meeting Bryan Kohberger, the suspect in killing four Idaho university students when the killer visited their school.

Kohberger, a criminal justice graduate student at Washington State University, went to the University of Idaho weeks before he committed the crime.

Chelsea, a sophomore at the university, told People Magazine that she saw Kohberger at the food court of the Student Union building.

Chelsea said she saw Kohberger sitting by himself while drinking water.

The student noticed that Kohberger was staring, making her "uncomfortable."

"He was the type to stare," Chelsea said. "He wouldn't look away if you caught him staring. Like he wanted you to notice that he was looking at you. He didn't smile, didn't nod, didn't say anything. Just stared."

Because of Kohberger's action, Chelsea and her friend left the food court and ate outside "because we wanted to get away from him."

Another student revealed that she saw the murder suspect around the campus and mistook him for a fellow schoolmate.

Like Chelsea, the student felt uncomfortable meeting Kohberger and noticed that the suspect was "really quiet and really intense, staring."

Moscow police officers did not confirm the alleged sightings of Kohberger around the campus. However, a law enforcement source told the magazine that they believe the suspect spent some time in the university.

The stories of alleged Kohberger's sightings became a concern for the school community.

Mar Sampson, whose daughter was a student at the University of Idaho last semester, said there's something wrong if a grown man who isn't a student can enter the campus.

Amidst the new revelations about Kohberger, the two siblings of the suspect's victim have returned to the campus.

Stacy Wells Chapin, the mother of Kohberger's victim Ethan Chapin, said it was a "challenging time" for her to send the two of her triplets back to the campus months after the gruesome killings.

But Chapin said they would visit their surviving children at school every other weekend while allowing them to "heal at their own pace."

Kohberger is currently detained at the Latah County Jail in Idaho after he was accused of stabbing to death four University of Idaho students last Nov. 13, 2022.

Kohberger's defense lawyers were recently provided with thousands of documents and other materials used as evidence as part of their plan to review and challenge the allegations hurled at the suspect.

Kohberger, who faces four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary, is expected to return to court on June 26.
