On Monday night, Investigation Discovery kicked off nine back-to-back nights of new true crime specials referred to as the nine at 9. The new episodes will focus on a range of well-known stories as the network takes a closer look at "headline-making stories and iconic cases." Here's what viewers can expect in the other new episodes on the ID channel.

During Monday's premiere episode, the first special examined the "disturbed psyche of serial killer and cannibal, Jeffrey Dahmer." The program, called "Jeffery Dahamer: Mind of a Monster," leaned into his police interview transcripts, which played a role in narrating the piece. The full episode can be seen here.

Moving forward, Investigation Discovery will then begin examining "Clueless" actress Brittany Murphy's 2009 death on Tuesday night. As stated on the network's website, many believed foul play was involved in the 32-year-old's death. Now, her father continues his search for answers as "lurid allegations against other family members mount."

Then, on Wednesday, a new episode, called "Disappeared in the Darkness: An ID Mystery," will focus on the "disappearance and probable murder of Heather Elvis." According to Investigation Discovery, the search began when police encountered an abandoned car near Myrtle Beach. At that time, they assumed that Elvis, the car's owner, had simply vanished. However, they eventually learn about other details that may have contributed to her disappearance.

On Thursday, an hour-long special will focus on the murder of college student Faith Hedgepeth in an episode called "Who Killed the Co-Ed? An ID Murder Mystery." That will be followed by Friday night's new episode at 9 p.m. EDT that is set to focus on the disappearance of 7-year-old Kyron Horman. "Little Boy Lost: AN ID Mystery" will follow Kyron's mother as she looks for answers. However, as noted by the network, the case will ultimately take "many bizarre turns."

Then, on Saturday, "My Father BTK" will take a look at the true identity of the BTK killer, whose real name is Dennis Rader, as his daughter discusses her experience with her father and the ultimate realization that she had to face.

On Sunday, a three-part expose will air called "WHO KILLED JEFFREY EPSTEIN?" Throughout the episodes viewers will get a closer look at what took place leading up to the financier's death.

June 1's episode will then delve into the mysterious circumstances surrounding New Canaan, Connecticut resident Jennifer Dulos' 2019 disappearance. Leading up to the new episode, Norm Pattis, the attorney who once represented Jennifer's deceased husband Fotis Dulos, recently revealed why he will no longer discuss his former client publicly. An attorney working for Michelle Troconis, Fotis' one-time girlfriend, has also recently discussed where he believes the case stands now.
