According to reports, the latest Corona 5.0.1 Untether 1.0-7 has been released. The newest release is an update from the previous version, 1.0-6, that was released to fix the iBooks DRM errors that had caused a number of images and texts.

A new tweet by Saurik (Jay Freeman) has only recently claimed that the newest Corona 5.0.1 Untether 1.0-7 has been released to fix any such lingering errors from the previous version. The new updated version will look to permanently fix any remaining iBooks issues that were affecting jailbroken iOS devices running on the iOS 5.0.1 firmware.

Although most people installed this Corona 5.0.1 Untether 1.0-6 smoothly, a few who were upgrading from a first generation iPad had, most likely, experienced an error installing the update.

This happened because the Corona 5.0.1 Untether 1.0-6 update had a Depends issue that required another Cydia package to be installed that was not compatible with the iPad.

However, it has to be remembered that even though this update should only apply to those who jailbreak their iPads, it is recommend that all users install Corona 5.0.1 Untether 1.0-7 in case there were other minor fixes not mentioned.
