Ivanka Trump has been serving as senior advisor to President Donald Trump since 2017. The wife of Jared Kushner has been focused on the education and economic empowerment of women while working very hard to help in the implementation of her father’s orders and policies. Recently, netizens lambasted Ivanka after she encouraged netizens to practice social distancing amid the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S.

“As we practice social distancing, we remember that God does not keep His distance. I pray today for our great Country, our leaders, and all Americans. #NationalDayOfPrayer,” Ivanka wrote on Twitter. Critics were quick to react to the post, with some describing the First Daughter as "phony" and "irrelevant."

“We need permanent social distancing from your family,” Edward Kim said. “Give it up, girl. No one believes this cr@p from your family of grifters. Your dad is trying to bribe a German company to make their vaccine here and only available to Americans. Your family is already profiting from this. The only thing you've ever prayed for is power and money,” a netizen shared. “Trump has more of a relationship with @StormyDaniels than God. If you believe that Trump is a sincere Christian, make sure to ask Santa for a cure for #COVID19,” Nancy Lowell penned in the comment section.

“Today The Spa by @IvankaTrump at the Trump Hotel DC enticed customers to visit—Tuesday only!—for a facial or massage and get a free nail polish change. None of those procedures can be performed from a distance of six feet. The spa also used a photo of a woman touching her mouth,” journalist Zach Everson pointed out on Twitter. “Stop tweeting Hallmark greeting card pablum and turn your thoughts and prayers into action — where are the test kits?” Mark Zohar stated. “Wonder how many Americans are using this ‘National Day of Prayer’ to pray for a new President?” Roland Scahill added.

Ivanka Trump has yet to comment on these harsh remarks. Meanwhile, the stepdaughter of Melania Trump worked from home, on Friday, after her close contact with Australian home affairs minister Peter Dutton, who tested positive for coronavirus. Aside from Ivanka, Dutton also met US attorney-general William Barr and Five Eyes intelligence alliance officials.

Despite this, the White House stated, in a statement, that Ivanka Trump does not need to be quarantined since Dutton was asymptomatic during the meeting. “The White House is aware that Mr. Dutton tested positive for Covid-19. He was asymptomatic during the interaction. Exposures from the case were assessed and the White House Medical Unit confirmed, in accordance with CDC guidance, that Ivanka is exhibiting no symptoms and does not need to self-quarantine,” the statement read, per Politico. “She worked from home today out of an abundance of caution until guidance was given,” it went on.
