Jason Sudeikis Not Happy About Olivia Wilde-Harry Styles Romance, Source Says

Looks like the newly formed relationship between Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles is pinching Jason Sudeikis where it hurts the most.

Sudeikis, Wilde’s ex-husband, was allegedly not happy about the idea of the actress drawing closer to the “Watermelon Sugar” hitmaker, per Entertainment Tonight. A source told the media outlet that Sudeikis was hoping that they would reconcile and get back together, but the chances seem to have become slimmer now.

The insider also noted that the exes decided to be friends for the sake of their kids – Otis, 6, and Daisy, 4.

“Olivia and Jason ended amicably and both wanted to remain close and stay friends for the sake of their kids and because they have mutual respect and love for one another,” ET quoted the source, as saying.

The source also revealed that the “Ted Lasso” star was really hurt that Wilde has moved on with Styles so soon. “He has been really hurt and somewhat jealous that Olivia has moved on with Harry,” the source added.

Sudeikis and Wilde met each other in 2011 after their respective divorces. The “Booksmart” helmer was previously married to Tao Ruspoli, the Italian-American filmmaker, while Sudeikis was married to Kay Cannon.

In November 2020, the couple called it quits and announced that it was mutual. A source close to the couple said that their children were their priority and have decided to co-parent them.

“The split happened at the beginning of the year. It's been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship,” the source told People.

Meanwhile, another report suggested that the former One-Direction member had no hand in ending Wilde’s engagement to Sudeikis. People close to the actress shut down the speculation by revealing Wilde was “already done” with Sudeikis before she began dating the musician.

“Harry did not break up an engagement. Olivia and Harry were able to keep their relationship under wraps for a bit before it became public knowledge. They were very careful about it and even sleuth at times, although the small group of people who were on set with them every day eventually figured it out,” an insider told Us Weekly.
