Johnny Depp Defamation Case: Amber Heard's Texts To Elon Musk Reveals Her Nickname For Him

While still married to Johnny Depp, Amber Heard allegedly gave Elon Musk the nickname “Rocketman,” a fact that was exposed during the ongoing defamation case filed by the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor against his ex-wife.

The Mirror obtained the messages shared between Musk and Heard. On May 22, 2016, just a day after the “Aquaman” star said Depp threw a phone that hit her face, she and the SpaceX founder exchanged texts.

"For Such a smart man...... I would think you wouldn't need to investigate any further than your last text to me before such radio silence commenced [sic]," Heard allegedly texted Musk, The Blast reported.

“Well, I'm just glad you're ok. You talked about J being violent in the past and still having keys to the apartment, so I thought something might have happened,” Musk reportedly replied.

Heard then said that she had the locks of the property changed, which alarmed the tech genius, and that she was filing for a restraining order and divorce. In the conversation, Musk offered to provide Heard “24/7 security” after learning about the incident she had with Depp and said it “would be utterly confidential.”

Heard saved Musk’s number under the name Rocketman, which was “a reference to his SpaceX rocket program,” the Mirror noted.

In the screenshot shared by Depp’s lawyer, Adam Waldman, Heard didn’t elaborate on what happened between her and her then-husband, but she did address a matter between her and Musk.

“All of that is irrelevant to why I stopped talking to you," Heard told Musk, who said that his offer still stands even if she will never see him again.

The conversation shared didn’t provide context as to what happened between Heard and Musk, but the latter’s messages may open a lot of possibilities in Depp’s defamation case.

“Anyway, sorry for being an idiot. The radio silence hurt a lot. It only matters because I really like you," Musk said to Heard.

This revelation came following claims that Heard, Musk and Cara Delevingne had a threesome, which the Tesla founder later denied.
