Johnny Depp Knew ‘Truth Will Come Out’ Following Ex Amber Heard’s Domestic Abuse Allegations

Johnny Depp was confident that the truth about his and Amber Heard’s split will eventually come out.

Depp and Heard’s relationship ended in divorce, with the latter alleging that he was violent and abusive. Depp kept his silence until after their divorce was settled and the actor admitted that it was tough on his part to be seen as an abuser, but he knew that the “truth will come out.”

“I could feel people look at me differently, because of the accusations towards you. And then people start putting things in magazines: ‘He’s insane. He needs to take a sanity test...’ You know, ludicrous stuff,” he told GQ in an interview in 2018.

“But the only thing that I could do was know what I still know. Ultimately, the truth will come out in all of this and I will be standing on the right side of the roaring rapids. I hope other people will be too. I know the truth and if I had to walk away from all of it today, the job, the career, all of it, and go toodle-oo, then fine.”

Depp opened up about his troubled finances and marriage in the interview. He felt that these two things fueled those who wanted to shut him down because people around him were suing him every opportunity they got. He knew he would never be “Cinderella” and he accepted it but in a very short period of time he theorized that “Cinderella had been immediately turned into the best.”

In the same interview, Depp also confessed he temporarily kept his mouth shut because he knew things would just get weirder and he was not into a “pissing contest with someone.” He already said what he needed to say and he was confident that his lawyers would take care of the rest.

Last week, an audio of Heard confessing that she hit Depp leaked. She even taunted Depp to tell the world that he was the victim and see how many would believe him. The audio recording showed that Heard’s allegation against Depp was not true and the public was moved to seek justice for him.

Just recently, the netizens also petitioned that Heard be removed as L’Oreal spokesperson. Many questioned the brand for considering Heard “humanitarian” and “woman of worth” after her confession that she hit her ex-husband, Depp.
