Joy-Anna Duggar Can’t Wait To Sleep With Austin In ‘Counting On’ Clip

With just days to go until their wedding on “Counting On,” Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth open up about the changes coming to their lives post-wedding on the next installment. TLC’s promo for Season 3, episode 4, shows Joy sharing her excitement about soon no longer having to sleep separately from Austin.

Episode 4, aptly titled “Joy and Austin’s Camping Trip,” will take the soon-to-be newlyweds on a camping trip with their family and friends as part of their co-ed Bachelor and Bachelorette party. But while the vacation has both men and women attending, it doesn’t appear Joy and Austin broke any courtship rules during the getaway.

“In a couple weeks its really cool to think that we won’t have to sleep in separate hammocks,” Joy says to Austin in front of the camera as she sports a big smile on her face.

The couple gets close again the episode with one scene from the teaser trailer showing Austin lovingly feeding Joy a Smore while sitting by a campfire.

The camping trip will also see the pair play a game. A scene shows the couple sitting back-to-back and raising either theirs or their partner’s shoe everytime they’re asked a question about their relationship. One of the questions fans will see Joy and Austin answer is “who wears the pants.”

“I thought the shoe game was awesome,” Joy’s brother Jedidiah Duggar says. “Getting to know more about both of them.”

The episode won’t be all lovey-dovey though. It will also feature some outdoor activities. The almost bride and groom and their guests will not only camp, they’ll also go whitewater rafting.

“We are going to take an adventure,” Joy says of their plans with her sister Jana Duggar by her side.

While it appears Joy is all for the outdoor acitvity, Kendra Caldwell, one of Joy’s bridesmaids and soon to be sister-in-law, tells her future husband Joe Duggar she worries they’ll fall into the water. Fortunately for her, she appears to be safe, but Joy, on the other hand, isn’t so lucky. One scene from the promo shows Joy screaming as her boat tips over and she plunges in.

While it doesn’t appear Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo are on the trip, the couple does help Joy and Austin prepare for their wedding in the episode. The trailer shows them buying Mexican-inspired flatware for their rehearsal dinner. “She’s doing fajitas,” Jinger announces of her sister’s meal plan for the party.

The errand, however, isn’t without a little drama. “Jeremy was throwing them around a bit, flipping them around,” Jinger explains to the cameras of how Jeremy acted in the store with the plates and bowls while sporting a concerned expression on her face.

Back at home, Joy will continue her wedding planning. Last viewers saw she brought her bridal party to tears while trying on dresses. Now, in episode 4, she’ll team up with Kendra to find the perfect hairstyle for her big day.

In present day, Joy and Austin are already married. The coupled tied the knot in May and are expecting their first child soon. Elsewhere in the Duggar family, Kendra and Joe are also married and have been since Sept. 8.
