Clothing label, Juicy Couture said on Monday it is expanding by distributing its products to Asian countries as part of a partnership with Lane Crawford Joyce Group, an Asian international brand group.

The Lane Crawford Joyce Group will represent Juicy Couture clothing brand through a network of distribution, retailing and franchising. The brand will be made available in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. The Lane Crawford Joyce Group will work closely with Juicy Couture to position and expand the brand's presence in Asia.

"International expansion is a key element of our growth plan for Liz Claiborne Inc., and moving into China and Asia is an important component', Trudy Sullivan, president of Liz Claiborne Inc. said in a statement. Juicy Couture was acquired by Liz Claiborne Inc. in 2003.

According to the agreement, 24 Juicy Couture retail stores will open. In addition, 23 smaller stores will be open in larger department stores within the first four years of the agreement. The Lane Crawford Joyce Group franchises and distribute other brands in Greater China (Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Macao) such as Marc Jacobs, Marni, Hugo Boss, Versace, Coach and BCBG.
