If for some reason you have ever dreamed of having a monsoon in your living room or running for your life from wild animals you may be out of luck in the real world. However, "Jumanji: The Video Game" is coming to satiate those wild fantasies as the new title is slated to come out later in 2019.

“Jumanji”, which was originally introduced to the world in a 1995 film, was inspired by a picture book authored by Chris Van Allsburg. Over the years it has been subsequently transitioned into movies, a board game, and now a video game, as well.

As reported by Screen Rant, the game is set to be released on Nov. 15 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, Outright Games, and Funsolve teamed up with Sony Pictures for the creation process.

Up to four players are said to be able to connect their games via either split-screen play or through online portals. There, you will be able to assume various roles, including Dr. Smoulder Bravestone, Professor Shelly Oberon, and Ruby Roundhouse, characters portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan, respectively, in 2017's film "Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle".

Richard Tawn, founder and director of Funsolve, the developer behind the game, recently said that “adapting the exotic, dangerous, and hilarious world of ‘Jumanji’ into a video game has pushed us to create something truly special.”

With the game’s November release date that places it only one month before the third film installment, which is still untitled at this time, fans of the "Jumanji" universe have quite a bit more to look forward to in the near future.
