American film director, Zack Snyder, recently hyped up their upcoming event, DC FanDome by sharing a new teaser image of his version of "Justice League" on Twitter.

DC decided to skip the San Diego Comic-Con virtual event year and instead, they decided to hold their digital convention, DC FanDome, on Aug. 22.

DC FanDome is a 24-hour interactive virtual event showcasing "Justice League's" upcoming games, movies, TV shows, and comics. One of the most highly anticipated works that fans are looking forward to is Zack Snyder's "Justice League," an extended alternate cut to the original movie which is set to debut on HBO Max in 2021, according to Screenrant.

Though Snyder finished the principal photography of the original movie which released in 2017, he had to step back from the shooting due to personal reasons. American director Joss Whedon then took charge of the extensive reshoots and assembled the movie's final cut, which was drastically different from the original plan. However, after over two years of waiting, fans are hyped up about Snyder's version of the "Justice League".

It was previously confirmed that a sneak peek of Snyder’s version of the movie, which is commonly referred to as the "Snyder Cut", will be showcased during DC FanDome. On Aug. 16 (Sunday), Snyder himself tweeted about it by sharing a behind-the-scenes picture of the film’s Wayne Manor set before it transforms into the Hall of Justice along with the date of the upcoming event.

"8/22 2:45PM (PDT) #FanDome" he captioned the tweet.

Snyder's Justice League cut will be featuring Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne (Batman), Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry (Aquaman), Ezra Miller as Barry Allen (The Flash), Ray Fisher as Victor Stone (Cyborg), Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, and Ciran Hinds as Steppenwolf, as per Comicbook.

Previously, Henry Cavill had talked about the "Snyder Cut" during his interview on Variety Studio: Actors on Actors with actor Patrick Stewart back in June.

"With Justice League when it came, there was a mix of visions and the movie wasn’t well-received. And then over the subsequent years, there was a big push to see the fabled Snyder Cut,” he said while adding “And now that time has come, and I think it’s going to be very enjoyable to watch Zack finally release his version.”
