Justin Verlander, Kate Upton Apparent Nude Photos Leaked; Twitter Reacts

Justin Verlander, along with girlfriend Kate Upton, was added to the list of celebrities involved in an alleged nude photo hack. A naked image of the Major League Baseball pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, 31, and the Sports Illustrated model, 22, went viral Sunday after an anonymous user apparently posted dozens of explicit images to 4chan.

Verlander’s name and the phrase “Kate Upton and Justin Verlander OH MY GOD” became top-trending topics on the 140-character social media site Sunday night.

The apparent nude image is a “selfie-style” bathroom mirror picture, which seems to have been taken by the buxom blonde bombshell with her cell phone. The two appear to have their backsides facing the mirror and the only thing they are wearing is a smile. In one of the photos that went viral, the man (who seems to be Verlander), has his hand on the female’s bottom. In a different image, his hand is removed and a red mark remains.

Verlander and Upton join a slew of other celebrities whose alleged naked photos were exposed Sunday. A hacker reportedly claimed to have at least 60 images of “Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawerence. Her rep issued a statement that said anyone who posted the images would be prosecuted.

Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice, who was the center of a semi-nude photo scandal in 2013, denied the photos purported to be her were real on Twitter.

However, actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead confirmed photos of her were real when she took to her account Sunday.

A purported “master list” of the celebrities involved in the hack includes Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and Mary Kate Olsen, Buzzfeed reported.
