Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have been advised to end their rift by using these “love in action” strategies.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex reportedly can't get along with each other. They had already stepped out together last Christmas and appeared friendly, but some are still not convinced that their rift is over.

Matrimonial and family consultant Sheela Mackintosh-Stewart revealed that tensions are common between in-laws, especially when they are from different backgrounds like Middleton and Markle are. She offered advice for the two duchesses to end their issues.

“When conflict occurs, it’s important to try and see things from the other’s point of view and to practice 'love-in-action’ strategies,” Mackintosh told Express.

She added that Middleton and Markle should put in effort to check in on each other and stay connected. Maintaining regular contact can help the two avoid misunderstandings and tensions that tend to rise from miscommunication or the feeling of being excluded. She also suggested things that the royal mom of three could do for the pregnant duchess.

“Meghan is pregnant and is likely to need more support than ever so any kindness and advice Kate could give would undoubtedly be appreciated and reciprocated,” Mackintosh continued.

According to insiders, Markle and Middleton’s “ghastly row” began on the Christmas of 2017 when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to their Norfolk home at Prince Charles’ request. However, things apparently didn’t turn out as expected.

Markle was reportedly judged as “downright rude” upon arrival. Middleton also said something to her that didn’t sit well with Markle. The Duchess of Sussex reportedly complained to Prince Harry that she was being “told off,” and he immediately took her side. Meanwhile, Prince William defended Middleton, who was pregnant with Prince Louis at the time.

Middleton and Markle ended the speculations about their rift last Christmas when the stepped out together. They looked happy and amicable during the outing, chatting and smiling to each other. However, body language expert Judi James suggested that the two duchesses only showed a united front for the camera.

On the other hand, Prince William and Prince Harry were apparently distant. The royal princes also looked ill at ease as they put their hands on their pockets.
