Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s alleged feud was reignited after the former actress and her husband, Prince Harry, announced that they will be stepping back from their royal duties.

Days later, Sunday People reported that the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex have not spoken in the last six months. In the past, Middleton and Markle belonged to the same WhatsApp group alongside some members of the royal family. However, they also cut ties on the app.

On Jan. 9, the Duchess of Cambridge celebrated her 38th birthday, and it was reported that she didn’t invite Prince Harry and Markle to her bash. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also accused of taking the attention away from the future queen because they made their announcement on her birthday.

A source told the publication that Markle has decided to cut ties with the Cambridges and the other royals because she feels they are looking down on her because of her background.

“It has caused her a lot of upset and left relations in a very sorry state. They must find a way to resolve it and move forward as a family united,” a source said.

If the recent reports are true, this could only mean that the previous claim regarding Prince William’s wife extending an olive branch at Prince Harry’s wife is incorrect.

On New Year’s Eve, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge uploaded their 2019 highlights video on Instagram. The clip featured a photo of Middleton and Markle at Wimbledon.

Hours later, Prince Harry and Markle uploaded a similar clip on their Instagram account, and they also included a photo of the duchesses.

At that time, royal fans expressed their happiness at the thought of Middleton and Markle patching things up. However, this doesn’t seem to really be the case. In fact, Prince William and Prince Harry have not mended their broken relationship either.
