Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle reportedly projected a certain image during their Christmas Day walk service.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex were rumored to be feuding. However, they ended the speculations about their rumored rift when they appeared friendly when the royals walked to church to attend their annual Christmas service.

According to writers Kaitlin Menza and Lisa Ryan on the “Royally Obsessed” podcast, the two duchesses projected a strong image of the family. They also believed that there’s a reason why the fab four were positioned in that way.

“It was no accident that they positioned the two women in the middle together, Kate and Meghan were side by side,” they said.

“Everything’s great, they’re just two sisters-in-law, having a great time,” they added.

They also praised the way the two duchesses dressed. However, they gave the best-dressed award to the busiest royal, Princess Anne. The Royal Princess looked elegant and fashionable in her turquoise blue ensemble.

Menza and Ryan also felt that the tension was over between the fab four. For them, Prince William and Prince Harry looked “happy.” However, body language expert Judi James believed otherwise.

According to James, while Middleton and Markle exerted efforts to appear friendly, their husband didn’t do the same. There were rumors that the royal brothers had a fallout and based on their body language on the said outing it seemed that the speculations had some basis.

Prince William and Prince Harry appeared distant from each other. They were never seen looking at each other’s direction. Instead, both had less cheerful expressions. They also stuffed their hands on their pockets and appeared “ill at ease.”

James also believed that the tension between Middleton and Markle wasn’t over yet. According to the expert, they just put a united front for the cameras.

She added that Middleton exerted more effort to appear friendly with her sister-in-law. Based on the photos, the Duchess of Cambridge opted to stay behind a few steps from Prince William to keep pace with Markle who was holding Prince Harry’s arm. The two women were smiling and chatting but for James, Middleton only took a matriarchal role and was keeping her future role as the next queen in mind.
