Many royal followers see Prince William and Kate Middleton as the future King and Queen of the United Kingdom. This, according to reports, is one of the many reasons why the public looks up and expects more from them than the other younger members of the royal family.

Woman’s Day New Zealand, in its upcoming April 6, 2020 issue, shared that Prince William and Kate are taking charge of The Firm as doctors continue to monitor Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, and Prince Charles, who tested positive for the COVID-19 recently. The entertainment news outlet claimed that the parents of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have been fast-tracked into key roles amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“With the Queen and Prince Charles effectively out of action for many months to come, the burden is now falling squarely on William and Kate,” a tipster said. “They accept their roles and are determined to fulfill them, but at the same time, there is a certain amount of trepidation. All this is happening much faster than they could’ve ever imagined,” it went on.

Despite the pressure, insiders told the media outlet that Kate Middleton, in particular, has been handling the current situation pretty well. The wife of Prince William, reportedly, proved that she is very much qualified to help rule the monarchy when the time comes for the Cambridge couple to take the throne.

“Kate has been exceptional throughout this crisis. She’s the glue that’s holding everyone together,” the source stated. “Kate and William didn’t have to think twice – they were adamant they would take over all duties so that the Queen and Charles could isolate and stay safe without any undue stress. They were determined to lead from the front and show a calm and united approach,” it continued.

Metro UK revealed, on March 20, that Kate Middleton and Prince William, secretly, visited a National Health Service (NHS) 111 call center in Croydon, London. The Cambridge pair, then, commended the dedication of the frontliners after they observed how they are dealing with the perils posed by the COVID-19 outbreak. They, also, learned that the number of calls in the contact center has quadrupled since WHO announced the plague a pandemic.

Prince William, also, thanked the NHS 111 staff for their hard work and sacrifices. He, then, emphasized that everyone plays a vital role in protecting the most vulnerable. During the visit, the older brother of Prince Harry and Kate Middleton followed the latest protocols about dealing with the deadly virus, which means no handshakes, observing social distancing and frequent hand-sanitizing.
